Metro-East Lutheran High School Activity Camps are designed to help students grow the talents and gifts God has given them. But it is more than that! MELHS Activity Camps also . . .

  • Give opportunities for students to meet new people and form relationships.
  • Challenge students to spend their time in a productive way.
  • Build students' faith through times of devotions and prayer.
  • Surround students with coaches and teachers who are experts in their fields and serious about living their faith.
  • Introduce younger students to older Christian students who can mentor them as they grow.

Lady Knights Coach Rob Stock directs this camp, which features fun contests, group competition, offensive and defensive skill development and more.

Coach Jason Batty will lead this camp focused on learning the fundamentals of volleyball in a fun, energetic way.

Coach Anthony Smith, the boys basketball coaching staff and members of the Knights team work athletes through a fun but intense camp.

Coach Shanna Covarrubias and the MELHS team will help attendees learn the basics of scholar bowl, master new content and make new friends.

The MELHS Girls Volleyball coaches will lead this camp to help players learn new skills and develop their game.

This camp will be focused on learning skills for cheers, a routine, jumps, tumbling and fun games. A closing performance will be held at 5: 30 p.m. on the last day.

Robotics Camp offers an engaging learning experience for students interested in robotics, programming, and technology. Participants will explore the fundamentals of programming and robotics using LEGO Spike Prime sets. The highlight of camp is the head-to-head robot battles, where students test their skills in exciting competitions.

This camp offers an immersive experience for students who are passionate about robotics, engineering, and programming. Participants will have the unique opportunity to design, assemble, and program their own mini-bot under the guidance of experienced mentors from the MELHS Robotics team. The camp will culminate in an exciting match of robot soccer.

The MELHS Theatre Department will teach students the basics of musical performance, including acting, technical theatre, dance, and vocal performance. The camp will conclude with a final performance of a mini musical.

The Knights coaching staff and team members will lead athletes through a week of learning the basics of the game and developing skills.

This camp will teach the fundamentals of dance and help students improve their skills through fun dance and activities.
