Student Council:  There will be a meeting to finalize spring fling teams on Tuesday during homeroom in Miss Endorf's room.

 

SADD members who were not at the Recognition Program last night should pick up their certificate from Mrs. Lauber.

 

JV and Varsity Basketball players should see Mr. Stock sometime today.

 

Girls Basketball Players: There will be a meeting during homeroom on Thursday, March 18 for all girls interested in playing basketball next year. We will meet in Ms. Thompson's room.

 

DuHast Company will be throwing a “Spring Fling Party” at school on Friday, April 9th from 6 to 11.  The party will consist of a mechanical bull, a dunk tank (where Mr. Lindsey and Mr. Jeeninga will be getting dunked), and a hot dot eating contest.  Entry into the Spring Fling party will be $8.00 in advance and $10.00 at the door.  Come out and make this party a success by bring friends to enjoy the fun and games being held on April 9th.

 

Next Wednesday at Good Shepherd’s Lenten soup supper Thrivent will match donations, and the money will help pay for Jesse Bauer’s medical bills.  The supper starts at 5:30 and lasts until the soup’s gone.

 

Students who have not completed their Iowa Basics tests from last week need to do so today.  Please see Mrs. Lauber if you have questions.

 

The Spring Craft Fair will be held here at our school this weekend.  Lockers in the upstairs hall should be cleaned off.  Everyone is asked to bring items for the bake sale.  You can bring them to school on Friday or deliver them on Saturday.

 

The last day to order a yearbook will be Friday, March 26th.  The cost is $35.00.  Forms are available in the office, or you can purchase them online.

 

Unity Lutheran Church will host a Community Awareness Day on Saturday, March 13 from 9:00 – 3:30.  See the flyer posted in the hall for more information.

 

On Tuesday during homeroom we will be having representatives here from the United States Navy and SIU-E.

 

All varsity bowlers should turn in their team jacket to Mr. Lindsey as soon as possible. Please hand it to him; don’t just set it in his office.

 

Remember to move your clocks one hour forward tomorrow night for Daylight Saving Time!
